Yes, all our watches are water resistant to 5 ATM.
This means that it is protected in everyday life. This means it will survive water splashes ( you can shower with it) and can be safely submerged in shallow water up to a meter / 3 feet. Swimming is not advised.
This is because movement under water increases the atmospheric pressure on your watch exponentially which can lead to water damage. Make sure the crown is pushed in to avoid water from entering your watch. Remember to avoid exposure to extreme temperatures [below -10°c/14°f or over 50°c/122°f].
Each watch has a Japanese Miyota quartz movement by Citizen. This is a high quality battery powered (by Sony +- 2 years) movement that you will find in many well known fashion brand watches. It is made of stainless steel and will remain time-stable for many years.
Currently all AR/WE movements comes with a full charged battery and requires a battery which is available in most supermarkets worldwide. We recommend that you contact a professional watchdealer to change the battery on your watch if you don't know how to do this yourself.
All our watches and straps are designed together by our team to make the perfect match possible. With that said, we recommend you to use the original AR/WE straps but you can also use other 20mm (wide) straps.
Your watch is covered by our 1 year international warranty on defects in materials and workmanship starting on the date of purchase from an authorised AR/WE dealer or at www.arweswe.com. This means we will repair or replace your watch for free if you encounter any problems. This remains at our discretion. Therefore please take care of your watch. We cannot accept your repair request or warranty claim if your watch shows signs of excessive wear or misuse.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (scratches, nick, chips, discolouration) of the cases, strap and glass, or battery replacement.
Remember, you void the warranty by opening the case back, exposing your watch to excessive water or extreme temperatures. Keep your receipt in a safe place. You are required to provide it as a Proof of Purchase for all warranty claims.
You can make a warranty claim by emailing us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Describe the problem and if the damage is visible please attach a clear picture that shows the issue. We will find a solution for your defective product right away.
